I'm reading Bill Bryson's book, "A Walk in the Woods" and he talks briefly about an experience in Centralia, Pa. There's a fascinating backstory to this town. This is one of the remaining buildings, but most of the town is just cracked highways and driveways left over from an underground mine fire that still burns to this day.
